Anisa Parsa

MScPT, BSc

Anisa is a graduate of the University of Alberta, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science degree and Master’s in Physical Therapy. Her primary goal is to help patients understand their injury/condition and feel empowered on their path towards recovery, prevention and returning safely to the activities that are important to them.

Anisa draws on her personal experience as a former competitive athlete, her passion for helping others, and strong understanding of human movement and activity demands to provide personalized care that will help you reach your goals. When she is not at Summerside, Anisa provides treatment through the Pediatric Specialized Rehab Outpatient Program at the Glenrose Hospital where she has gained experience working with children with a variety of concerns including developmental/gross motor and neurological conditions.

Ages treated:

Anisa has experience and loves working with all ages – infants, children, youth and adults.

Physio Special Interests:

  • Infant torticollis and head shape concerns

  • Gross motor development concerns

  • Sport related injuries – particular interest and experience with soccer, rugby, ringette and hockey

  • Injury prevention and performance training

She aims to provide a clear path forward by equipping you with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve your goals and return to the activities that matter most to you. She also loves using her creativity to make rehab fun and enjoyable for the kiddos!

Did you know:

Anisa continues to play soccer and hockey and never passes up a chance to play Spikeball. She also loves spending time outdoors—whether it’s snowboarding, camping, hiking, or attempting to garden in her yard. Above all, Anisa values spending quality time with her family and friends.
